1. Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to answer a service request and to measure our advertising.

• Contact details you submit: name, telephone number, email address.
• Service details: type of safe, make and model, description of the fault, service location (city and province).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, campaign identifiers.
• Consent records: date, time and wording of the consent you gave.

2. Why we use it

Personal information is used to contact you about your request, to route it to the servicing workshop, to prevent fraud and abuse, to comply with legal obligations, and — where you have consented — to send commercial electronic messages and to measure advertising performance.

3. Consent

We rely on your express consent for marketing messages and non-essential cookies, and on implied consent for handling a service enquiry you initiate. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to [email protected] or by calling +1 519-632-7824. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

4. Disclosure to third parties

Enquiries submitted through this site are transferred to MacKay Security Services Inc. so that a technician can respond. We also use service providers for website hosting, form delivery, analytics and advertising measurement. Providers are bound by contract to use the information only for the services they perform for us. Some providers may store or process data in the United States, where it can be subject to lawful access requests by foreign authorities.

5. Retention

Enquiry records are retained for 24 months after the last contact, consent records for 3 years after consent is withdrawn, and analytics data in aggregated form for 26 months. After those periods, information is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

6. Safeguards

We use TLS encryption in transit, access controls limited to staff who need the information, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; please do not send safe combinations, alarm codes or copies of identity documents through this website.

7. Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected, ask that it be deleted, or withdraw consent. We respond to written requests within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you reside in Quebec.

8. Children

This website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from persons under 16.
